🧪So, isn't it glass?
What Is a Crystal and what is the difference from glass?
A crystal is a solid where the atoms are arranged in a neat, repeating pattern. Think of it like a super‑organized 3D grid made of tiny building blocks. That's what gives it the shiny look allows shaping using lasers. At lifetime crystals we use the most brilliant type of crystals for our custom 3D photos. Also we recently added other crystal gifts ready to ship.

The repeating pattern of atoms is what gives crystals their cool shapes, like cubes, hexagons, and long sparkly points.
What Does a Crystal Look Like on the Inside?
Inside a crystal, atoms line up in a pattern called a crystal lattice. The image above shows a simple version of this pattern.

How Do Crystals Form?
Crystals grow when atoms or molecules come together in an organized way. This can happen when:
- A liquid cools down
- A solution evaporates
- Water vapor freezes (like snowflakes)
The atoms slowly stack into a repeating pattern, just like building with LEGO bricks.
